Joey woke this morning at 4:30 and wasn't willing to go back to sleep, so I'm pretty tired today. (I'm not excited to be standing outside in the wee hours waiting for him.) Today he met Oscar face-to-face (as opposed to through the fence) - Oscar is a very big boy and was excitedly chasing him and Joey got scared. Hopefully he won't be frightened around dogs now - Joey is slow to forget a "bad" experience. Then, he met Henry! I don't think he likes other dogs!!

Joey has already mastered a lot of tricks - he can sit, lay down, roll over, shake and beg. It's really amazing.

Richard has done a lot of work around here today - he's repaired and painted the front railing, installed a new storm door closer, cleaned up the area around the garbage can and is now cutting the grass. I guess he isn't as exhausted as I am!
