I've really learned a lot about my Cloud hosting plan and Joomla today. I finally spent the time to figure some things out.
I set up a web disk and now I'm able to work in the directory just like it's on my computer - FTP is no longer necessary. Unfortunately I haven't figured out how to have all of the domains working at the same time - I think it probably has something to do with putting in the user name and password and I did that initially for one (kathygorman) and now it's all I get. I'll think more about that later...I'm sure it's doable.
I set up Joomla at kathygorman.com in the root and used Joomlashine's Epic template - since I set up Joomla using the blog option, everything is completely different than my experience with CivilWarRichmond. It's really been educational to see things from a different perspective. It's also become obvious at how much I've learned about Joomla over the last year - setting up Options doesn't panic me now!
I have a couple of issues I want to iron out, but all-in-all, this is going to do exactly what I want.
Joey has been a doll baby today - we've taken a walk, sat outside, and had a nice day together. He goes to the doctor tomorrow for his shots.
