Cesar wrote a great piece today about gratitude

Joey went to the doctor today for his last puppy shots - he had gained a pound in the last month and now weighs 4 pounds 10 ounces. I'm to continue with the heart worm meds until they run out and then it will be refilled for a higher weight. Joey did a little better in the car - he only screamed about half the time - once I put the window down he seemed to like looking out and having the wind blow on him. We stopped by to visit Rebecca and made an appointment to have his face and feet done on Thursday - I also filled out the form to register him with the County so he's legal now.

Joey slept 5 1/2 hours again last night so I'm not a walking zombie.

I was able to fix my notebook computer by reinstalling Windows - it had been so messed up there didn't seem to be any other choice. It looks like I'm going to need to do the same thing with Will's. Since they are both HP notebooks and they went bad about the same time, I think there was some update that did it...

Richard really did a lot of work on the house over the weekend - and he washed the cars. Mine looks almost new!

Joey woke this morning at 4:30 and wasn't willing to go back to sleep, so I'm pretty tired today. (I'm not excited to be standing outside in the wee hours waiting for him.) Today he met Oscar face-to-face (as opposed to through the fence) - Oscar is a very big boy and was excitedly chasing him and Joey got scared. Hopefully he won't be frightened around dogs now - Joey is slow to forget a "bad" experience. Then, he met Henry! I don't think he likes other dogs!!

Joey has already mastered a lot of tricks - he can sit, lay down, roll over, shake and beg. It's really amazing.

Richard has done a lot of work around here today - he's repaired and painted the front railing, installed a new storm door closer, cleaned up the area around the garbage can and is now cutting the grass. I guess he isn't as exhausted as I am!
